AURORA, CO (1 SEPTEMBER 2023) – R-12 Neuro Protection introduced two new products at the National Tactical Officers Association’s (NTSO) 40th Law Enforcement Operations Conference and Trade Show from August 29 – September 1 2023 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center. The trade show allowed over 200 companies to display and demonstrate their products in front of 1,000 officers representing over 400 agencies from 44 states and five countries.
“The NTSO show gave R-12 the opportunity to introduce the market’s first and only ballistic soft hat with 360-degree protection to many law enforcement agencies from around the world,” R-12 Industries Founder/CEO Daniel Saad, MD, said. “The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to partnering with these agencies in assisting their officers with additional cranial protection – especially those on routine patrol in their communities.”
The six day conference and trade show offered more than 100 seminars and incident debriefs that provided high-quality training to help officers with the enhancement of tactics, leadership, and professionalism.
In addition to the IIIA ballistic soft cap, R-12 debuted two new products that are in the company’s research and development pipeline. The ballistic beanie cap provides 360 degree cranial protection, and has been designed for special operations/first responders in colder climates. The Comms Covers provides officers and special forces personnel with ballistic protection around the ears of radio headsets. Both products are designed and constructed to IIIA standards.
